Ceist:219 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the position regarding the report of the expert review group on radiotherapy services; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18514/01]

As I have previously advised the Deputy on a number of occasions, the expert review group has indicated that it anticipates that its work will be completed in a number of months. It is not possible to give an exact date for completion due to the importance and complexity of the work. I have been assured that the group is working as expeditiously as possible and that there is no undue delay in its work. I am looking forward to receiving the report which I will consider in due course.
