106 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the extent to which the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness remains on course; if he has proposals in mind to alter the programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19314/01]
The PPF is a 33 month programme which covers the period 2000-2002. It continues to be implemented and to date four progress reports have been presented to the Houses of the Oireachtas and to the social partners. Agreement was reached in December 2000 on adjustments to the pay terms of the agreement and renewed emphasis placed on the promotion of economic stability, improved living standards and a strengthening of the partnership process.
I have no proposal to alter the programme.
