Ceist:96 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the progress to date regarding developments on a pier, details supplied, in County Mayo. [19430/01]

Under my Department's fishery harbours development programme for 2001 funding of £45,000 was allocated to Mayo County Council towards the work area at the pier in question costing a total of £60,000.
The proposed development requires a foreshore lease from my Department. This application is currently being processed by the Department.
