187 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science when refurbishment and upgrading works (details supplied) will be carried out at a national school in County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19399/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

Architectural planning to carry out improvement works to the school referred to by the Deputy is progressing. However, it is not possible at this point to say when the work will commence.
