194 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education and Science if a resource teacher will be appointed to Tankerstown, Bansha, Golden and Thomastown national schools in County Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19473/01]
An application has been received by my Department for the appointment of a resource teacher for the schools referred to by the Deputy.
My Department's inspectorate is currently investigating this application. Once the inspector has reported, my Department will be in contact with the schools' authorities.
