243 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Finance if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 146 of 6 March, the interest accrued will also be waived on the deferral of probate tax; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20141/01]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the waiver of interest will be considered on receipt of details of the applicant's financial circumstances.
