261 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if the South-Eastern Health Board or his Department will make funds available to the Motor Neurone Association based on their submission on 23 May 2001 to the board. [19825/01]
The SEHB received an application from the Motor Neurone Association for a grant from the board's national lottery funding allocation. It is a matter for the board to decide on the merits of applications and on the level of funding to be provided. I have asked its chief executive officer to reply directly to the Deputy in relation to the latest position regarding the grant application from the association.
