274 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary must renew her medical card every six months; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19839/01]

This is an operational matter. I have referred the Deputy's query to the chief executive officer of the South-Eastern Health Board and requested that he reply directly to him.
