467 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will examine the report Investing in Children (details supplied); if the four projects set out in detail will receive multi-annual funding from 1 January 2002; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19590/01]
I have received the report referred to by the Deputy. This group is not currently receiving any support from my Department in relation to the proposals outlined. My Department will consider the proposals in the context of initiatives aimed at addressing educational disadvantage and a response will be communicated to the group concerned as soon as possible.
