I propose to take Questions Nos. 504 and 518 together.
The pupil referred to by the Deputy is eligible for free transport to Ballinacarrow National School, her nearest school, which is 2.3 miles from her home. As the pupil is not attending her nearest school, she is not eligible for free transport to Rockfield National School. There is no school bus service from her area to Rockfield National School on which she could be accommodated as a fare-paying passenger.
