188 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure that a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath is immediately admitted to the Dublin Dental Hospital for assessment and orthodontic treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20475/01]

The provision of orthodontic services to eligible persons in County Westmeath is the statutory responsibility of the Midland Health Board. I have asked its chief executive officer to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
