Ceist:

1043 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress which has been made regarding the provision of additional accommodation at Gainstown national school, Mullingar, County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21381/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

My Department has approved the purchase of three full-size steel framed portable classrooms with en suite toilets for Gainstown national school. It is not possible at this point to say when permanent accommodation will be provided.
