308 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of people on waiting lists; and the average waiting period for completion of work under the special housing aid for elderly scheme in the Mid-Western Health Board region. [23070/01]
As the Deputy is aware, the housing aid scheme for the elderly is operated by the health boards on behalf of the Department of Environment and Local Government.
The information requested is not held in my Department. Therefore, I have asked the chief executive of the Mid-Western Health Board to investigate this matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
