520 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science the funding provided by his Department for education and training in gheel autism services; the precise number of teachers and trainers provided; the education and training programmes delivered; and his views on the adequacy thereof. Gheel autism services provide day care, residential and respite services to adults who are on the autistic spectrum. The services in question are funded by the health authorities. My Department has no involvement in funding the services in question.
