Written Answers. - Psychological Service.
The original development plan for the national educational psychological service envisaged the service achieving nationwide coverage by the end of 2004. The Government has now approved my proposals to accelerate the development of the service to achieve nationwide coverage by the end of next year. This will mean an increase in the number of psychologists employed by the service to 200 by the end of 2002.
