251 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received an application for funding in respect of the education of a person (details supplied) in County Wexford; when a decision will be made in relation to this application; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that my Department has received an application for funding in respect of the education of the person to whom the Deputy refers. The application and supporting documentation are being considered within my Department and a decision on the matter will be made in the near future. I have asked my officials to inform the Deputy of the outcome of this case once a decision has been reached.
