107 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if the training unit in her Department has circulated its programme of courses to all staff as indicated in reply to Parliamentary Question No. 103 of 20 June 2001; if not, the reason for the delay; if a training needs analysis for identified staff has been prepared; if not, when it is expected; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The training programme is being printed and a copy will be circulated to each member of staff in my Department before the end of this month.

My Department advertised for suitable consultants to assist in the preparation of a training needs analysis for industrial staff of my Department on 13 September last. Following evaluation of the tenders submitted the successful consultants will be appointed and the training analysis project will commence shortly after.
