Ceist:278 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding a secondary school project (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will expedite this project. [25596/01]
Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.
My Department has received an application for grant aid towards the cost of a building project at the school in question. The Deputy will appreciate that there has been a massive and unprecedented increase in the funds allocated by this Government to the schools building programme at all levels.
My Department's decision relating to the appointment of a design team for this project will be reviewed in the light of the allocations to be made for school building purposes in the forthcoming estimates.
