41 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Health and Children the expected date of the completion of the accident and emergency review being carried out by Comhairle na nOspidéal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25621/01]
Comhairle na nOspidéal is in the process of reviewing the structure, operation and staffing of accident and emergency services with the aim of improving the provision and quality of patient care. The findings of this review will inform future policy decisions in relation to the provision of accident and emergency services. I am advised that the review is at an advanced stage and I look forward to receiving the findings in the near future.
