Ceist:445 Mr. Noonan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will provide a reply to a letter (details supplied) from Deputy Noonan of 19 July 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26753/01]

This is a matter for the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland which has statutory responsibility for the registration of pharmacists. A copy of the letter has now been sent to the society for direct reply to the Deputy. I regret any delay in this matter.
