Ceist:

170 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Defence his plans to upgrade the accommodation facilities at Coolmooney Camp, Glen of Imaal, County Wicklow; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30886/01]

Works are under way in Coolmoney Camp, Glen of Imaal, County Wicklow, to upgrade the accommodation facilities over four phases with a total cost of £1.7 million or 2.16 million. Phase one has already been completed with phase two currently under way and nearing completion. Phases three and four are planned for 2002. In addition, an upgrading of the water supply and sewerage treatment systems is also planned for Coolmoney Camp in 2002.
