167 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform his views on reports of the use of a drug (details supplied) and other products in so-called date-rape incidents; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31351/01]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that there is no evidence of the use of the drug in question, or similar products, in rape incidents reported to the gardaí.
