78 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if he will reconsider an application by a person (details supplied) in County Kildare for a REP scheme payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31182/01]

I have asked officials of my Department to review the penalty applied for late submission of the participant's fourth year payment application. Both he and the Deputy will be informed directly of the outcome of this review.
