I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Naughten – the need to intervene in the development of a new sewerage scheme for Creagh, County Roscommon; (2) Deputy Ulick Burke – the need to indicate his plans for a new national school at Cahergal, Abbeyknockmoy, County Galway, as a replacement for the current school which is overcrowded and in a poor condition; (3) Deputy Connaughton – the problem of overcrowding at Cahergal national school, Tuam, County Galway, and the need to sanction the provision of a new school on a greenfield site which is available; (4) Deputy Timmins – the need to provide extra funding for the existing postal services in County Wicklow, particularly in the greater Bray and Delgany area; (5) Deputy Perry – the need to approve the extension for Carbury national school, The Mall, Sligo; (6) Deputy Clune – the need for funds to be provided to Cork City Council to enable commencement of the St. Patrick's Street renewal programme; (7) Deputy Ring – the need to introduce the three point plan as proposed by the Netsmen Association to reduce pressure on salmon stocks; (8) Deputy Sargent – the need to introduce measures to require service providers such as the ESB and the NRA to co-operate and the need to have road reservations designed to allow for service corridors which could facilitate ducting of cables and a separate service road which could also be a cycle-pedestrian pathway separated from main roads; (9) Deputy Stanton – the need to sanction improvements to include removal of asbestos and replacement of windows at Kilcredan primary school in County Cork and to also sanction an extension to the school; (10) Deputy Ó Caoláin – the need to recognise and act upon the employment situation in County Monaghan and to support the establishment of a business park in the town of Monaghan; (11) Deputy Deasy – the level of compensation paid to dairy farmers who have an incidence of BSE in their herd and their loss of income due to zero milk sales; (12) Deputy Seán Ryan – the need for a new purpose built school to accommodate 1,200 pupils at Malahide community school, County Dublin; (13) Deputy Howlin – the requirement for immediate funding for Scoil Charman, Wexford town; (14) Deputy Healy – the need to appoint a design team for the building of an extension at Ballyclerihan national school; (15) Deputy Moynihan-Cronin – the four year delay in transferring a site required for the construction of sheltered housing at Dromevane, County Kerry, from the Department of Education and Science to Kerry County Council; (16) Deputy O'Sullivan – the circumstances of the death of a person and the need for a review of the procedures for dealing with cases involving persons in similar circumstances; and (17) Deputy Neville – the death of a teenage mother in Dublin who had sought care and the failure to provide a secure place for a troubled teenage boy whose grandfather asked the courts to take him into care.
