Ceist:403 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Finance if he will examine the case of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo and have his appointment granted in the Civil Service; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1429/02]
Written Answers. - Departmental Transfers.
The person in question has been assigned by the Civil Service Commission as a result of a recent open clerical officer competition. He took up duty in the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment in Dublin on 26 November 2001. He applied on 29 November 2001 for transfer to Sligo. His application for transfer has been forwarded to a number of Departments and Offices. In accordance with the transfer arrangements applicable generally to the CO grade, he would not be eligible for transfer until he has served in his present location for a period of one year.
