380 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will advance the proposed national educational centre for the blind and visually impaired children project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3248/02]
We are currently advancing this important project. My Department has recently engaged a project team to devise an overall development strategy for the implementation of the report of the Planning Group for a National Centre for Children with Visual Impairment. When the development strategy has been completed my Department will be able to progress this matter further.
