Written Answers. - Employment Levels.
Statistics on employment were compiled annually from the labour force survey in respect of April each year up to 1997; and since the fourth quarter of 1997, corresponding quarterly figures have been available from the quarterly national household survey. Comparable results for the period 1996 to 2001 are set out in the following table.
