Written Answers. - Residency Permits.
The person in question applied for business permission in order to reside in the State as the owner and operator of a business here. The application was refused on 17 January 2002 as the applicant had not complied with a number of the published criteria applicable to my Department's business permission scheme. The applicant's solicitors were advised in writing of the decision and of the specific reasons for refusal on the above date.
