Ceist:

435 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in replying to an organisation (details supplied) who have requested the building of a new school for children with special needs; and if funding will be made available in 2002. [5517/02]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

The issue raised by the Deputy is currently being considered by my Department. A member of my Department's inspectorate will visit the school shortly to discuss how this proposal can best be advanced.
