126 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the advantages under his Department's remit that have accrued to County Donegal and the north-west region arising from the Objective One designation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6034/02]
My Department is involved in the delivery of the Programme for Peace and Reconciliation. This is the only programme under the responsibility of my Department financed by structural funds. Objec tive One status is not a criterion for eligibility for this programme. Accordingly, as regards the remit of my Department, the question of advantages accruing to County Donegal and the north-west region specifically because of their Objective One status does not arise.
