152 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay in providing treatment for a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; if, in view of the reports of a person (details supplied), he will expedite the treatment necessary without further delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of hospital services for people living in County Carlow rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer at the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
