Ceist:222 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will sanction finance to the South-Eastern Regional Health Board to purchase blood pressure monitoring equipment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6412/02]

The provision of health services is the responsibility of the South-Eastern Health Board in the first instance. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer at the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
