Written Answers. - Ministerial Travel.

Emmet Stagg

Ceist:

102 Mr. Stagg asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment her official engagements abroad in connection with the Saint Patrick's Day festivities; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6561/02]

Michael Noonan

Ceist:

105 Mr. Noonan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment her plans to travel abroad for Saint Patrick's Day celebrations; the venues to be visited; the planned dates of travel; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6693/02]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 102 and 105 together.

I intend to travel to Scotland on the night of 14 March 2002, and will attend a number of events, the culmination of which will be the St. Patrick's Day charity ball in Glasgow on Saturday, 16 March 2002. My itinerary has yet to be finalised but on 15 March I intend to launch a new print shop on the world wide web for an Irish e-business company and key Enterprise Ireland client. I will attend a business lunch hosted by Enterprise Ireland and a national day reception hosted by the consulate. On 16 March I will attend a St. Patrick's Day brunch hosted by Tourism Ireland and I will visit the Ireland Holiday Fair in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. I will attend the St. Patrick's Day charity ball on Saturday night and return to Dublin on Sunday morning, 17 March 2001.
