272 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the progress regarding an application for a mobility allowance by a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; if the appeal has been dealt with; and the outcome of same. [7676/02]
Responsibility for the assessment of entitlement to and payment of mobility allowance in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer, South-Eastern Health Board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
