581 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department has a library or if another library comes under the aegis of his Department; the way in which staff are recruited to such libraries; if there are vacancies at the present time; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Due to the redevelopment of the Marlborough Street complex, the Department's library service has been temporarily suspended due to lack of space. Pending the reinstatement of the library service, the accommodation and services unit of my Department processes orders for books and journals for the staff. It is my intention to have the information and library service restored as part of the new Marlborough Street complex.
