618 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has been asked to ratify the appointment of a B post of responsibility at Coláiste Dáibhís in Mallow, County Cork; when sanction will be given for this appointment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7894/02]
The number of posts of responsibility which may be filled in second level schools is prescribed in accordance with agreed limits. My Department has been in contact with the relevant V.E.C. in regard to the matter raised by the Deputy and is reviewing the position. I will advise the Deputy of the outcome.
619 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding an application for a resource teacher for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7925/02]
My Department's inspectorate is considering the application in question. My officials will be in contact with the school authorities as soon as the inspectorate has reported.
