Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the plans for a new unit for psychiatric services in St. Conal's Hospital, Letterkenny; the planned schedule for its construction; the plans to close or transfer the admission unit attached to Letterkenny General Hospital back to St. Conal's campus; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of this service rests with the North-Western Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
314 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Health and Children the revenue and capital funding allocated to Monaghan General Hospital in each of the years from 1994 to 2002; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10177/02]
Responsibility for the funding of services at Monaghan General Hospital rests with the North-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the North-Eastern Health Board to compile the information requested by the Deputy and to forward it to him directly.
