313 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the plans for a new unit for psychiatric services in St. Conal's Hospital, Letterkenny; the planned schedule for its construction; the plans to close or transfer the admission unit attached to Letterkenny General Hospital back to St. Conal's campus; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of this service rests with the North-Western Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.

Ceist:

314 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Health and Children the revenue and capital funding allocated to Monaghan General Hospital in each of the years from 1994 to 2002; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10177/02]

Responsibility for the funding of services at Monaghan General Hospital rests with the North-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the North-Eastern Health Board to compile the information requested by the Deputy and to forward it to him directly.
