324 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan can expect to be called for treatment in Monaghan General Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10317/02]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of County Monaghan rests with the North-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
