Written Answers. - HIV Infection.
During a meeting I had with representatives of the Irish Haemophilia Society last Thursday, 21 March, we had a detailed discussion on the proposed compensation scheme for HIV-infected haemophiliacs and their dependants. Since then the society has had two meetings with Department officials to discuss the matter and a further meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, 28 March. I reiterate my commitment to bringing this matter to a conclusion as early as possible.
