241 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress which has been made on the amalgamation of two primary schools (details supplied) in County Kilkenny since his meeting with representatives of both schools; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10795/02]
The property management section of the Office of Public Works has been asked to report on the possibility of acquiring a site for a school building to facilitate the amalgamation of the two schools referred to by the Deputy.
My Department's building unit will give further consideration to this matter as soon as all relevant documentation has been received from the Office of Public Works.
