466 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his Department has received an application from a local authority (details supplied) regarding the revision of their housing points system. [12040/02]
Written Answers. - Local Authority Housing.
The local authority submitted a revised scheme of letting priorities which includes proposed amendments to their points system for approval on 12 March 2002. A report on the extent and impact of the proposed changes was received in my Department on 8 April 2002. A meeting will be held shortly between my Department and the local authority at official level to discuss changes made in the revised scheme and a decision on the matter will then be made.
