166 Mr. Flood asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the concerns of local people regarding the proposed future use of part or all of St. Peter's national school, Dublin 12; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12728/02]
My Department has been in touch with the Diocesan authorities indicating that it has no objection to the disposal of part of the school facility in question, which is surplus to education requirements. The land on which the school is built is not owned by my Department, therefore, decisions on the use of the facility are a matter for the diocesan authorities.
