186 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will receive compensation for a reactor animal; if it will be immediately released; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13531/02]
The holding of the person concerned was restricted under the brucellosis eradication scheme between 1 November 2001 and 23 April 2002. No reactor animals were identified during the various tests carried out during this restriction period. Consequently, payment of reactor compensation did not arise.
