Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
The person named included two parcels on his 2001 area aid application which were also being claimed by another applicant. Recently the person named accepted that he was not entitled to claim either land parcel and the matter was resolved in favour of the other herdowner. The area aid application of the person named was processed with an area determined for payment purposes of 53.91 hectares. Payment of his full entitlement under the 2001 area based compensatory allowance scheme in respect of 45 hectares, the maximum allowed, issued on 18 June.
The person named applied for premium for 23 animals under the 2001 suckler cow premium scheme. Payment of his full entitlement under this scheme issued on 17 June.
The person named submitted three special beef premium applications in respect of a total of 11 animals in 2001. Payment will issue in respect of these animals within a fortnight.
