Ceist:127 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the way in which crime figures since the start of the World Cup compare to a similar two or three week period earlier in 2002. [14119/02]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the information sought by the Deputy is not readily available. It could only be obtained, within the time available, by the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of staff time and resources.
The figures are currently being researched and will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
