85 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Finance if he has reviewed the Strategy Statement for his Department for 2001-2004 prepared for the previous Government; and if he proposes to make alterations to it in view of his own personal priorities or the contents of the new programme for Government. My Department has begun the preparation of a revised statement of strategy under the Public Service Management Act. The statement will cover the work of my Department over the next three years and will take into account the new Programme for Government. It is my intention to approve the statement within six months of my commencement in office under the present Government and to arrange for its publication shortly thereafter.
