667 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in providing of resource teaching hours and a classroom assistant for a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16744/02]

An application for the supports in question was received in my Department on 18 September 2002. My Department sanctioned the allocation of the resources on 30 September 2002.
