676 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding the application by Scoil Chaitríona, Moibhí Road, Dublin 7 for a new refurbished school building; the reasons for the delay in progressing this project; when the go ahead will be sanctioned; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The building unit of my Department is currently examining the stage 1/2 submission, site suitability, briefing and site report, outline sketch scheme, for the proposed re-development of Scoil Chaitríona. A response on this submission will issue to the school shortly.
I am pleased to inform the Deputy that I recently approved funding, in the amount of €338,951 to allow the school management authority carry out interim repair works until the overall refurbishment takes place.
