Ceist:

988 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if arrangements can be made to provide the services of a chiropodist to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; if special footwear will be provided; and if he will make a statement outlining this person's entitlements. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

Responsibility for the provision of chiropody services to the person concerned rests with the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
