Ceist:

1228 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Transport the conclusions of the inspectors' report into the derailment of Luas during its trials to date; the number of incidents to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17777/02]

Minister for Transport (Mr. Brennan):

The railway inspectorate of my Department receives weekly progress reports from the Railway Procurement Agency. No derailments of Luas trams have been reported and the Railway Procurement Agency has confirmed that none has taken place.
